Tank replacement update

The process has begun to replace our water storage tank.

We have engaged AES Engineering to oversee this important project. You can see the engineering proposal on the documents page of the web site for details.

They have begun with a State required survey and replacement plan. Once the State has approved the plan, we will begin the actual replacement process.

Funding source update

We had hoped to have some good news by now, but the reality is we do not qualify for any of the available sources with our present corporate structure.

All State and Federal options were explored. While everyone was helpful they did acknowledge that there is a gap in available funding for entities like Grace Mar Water. Most of the available funding is limited to Title 32 Special Districts.

Watering schedule 2007

The 2007 Watering schedule was mailed out on 5/30/07. There is also a downloadable copy on the web site.

Precipitation Statistics

According to the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration, precipitation through the end of April is 2.23 inches ahead of last year.
This is great news for our lawns and weeds!
